Volunteers are a very important part of TADACT, contributing their time and skills to improve quality of life for people with disabilities and older people in the community.
TADACT retains minimal core staff that manage and facilitate all projects. Skilled volunteers are recruited to apply their technical knowledge to build or modify equipment solutions, but TADACT is also always on the lookout for volunteers to assist with administration and fundraising activities.
To be eligible to be a TADACT volunteer you must be able to acquire a Working with Vulnerable People licence and possess relevant skills.
- Typical skills of our volunteers include:
- Office Support
- Electrical work
- Driving and delivery
- Information Technology
If you have professional skills, particularly with previous not-for-profit experience, you may wish to volunteer to:
- assist on our Board
- provide support for our senior management staff, financial services and strategic marketing and communications
- fundraise for TADACT
Our volunteers are from all walks of life so regardless of your age, ability or experience, we welcome you to contact us to enquire about joining the team at TADACT.
